共に生きる会「中野のご近所の事例から学ぶ在住ネパールのこどもたちのこと」

9月は共に生きる会代表のムンさんから「中野のご近所の事例から学ぶ在住ネパールのこどもたちのこと」のお話を聞きます。

8月には「カレー移民の謎」の著者の室橋さんをゲストにお呼びして、現在増えている在日ネパール人のみなさまのことや抱えている課題などについて学びました。

9月は中野のカレー屋さんの子どもとして来日した4人の子どもたちの成長を見守り、サポートを続けているムンさんの活動の内容をお聞きします。現在中野区に住んでいる外国人人口は、昨年韓国を抜いて２番目がネパールとなりました。身近に共に生活しているネパールのこどもたちを取り巻く環境を学んでみませんか？

Tomoni Ikiru Kai September Event Information

In September, we will welcome Ms. Moon, the representative of Tomoni Ikiru Kai, who will speak on “Learning from Local Examples in Nakano: The Lives of Nepali Children Living in Japan.”

In August, we invited Mr. Murohashi, author of The Mystery of Curry Immigrants, as our guest speaker. We learned about the increasing Nepali community in Japan and some of the challenges they face.

In September, Ms. Moon will share her ongoing work of supporting and watching over four children who came to Japan as the children of Nepali curry shop owners in Nakano. At present, the Nepali population has become the second-largest foreign community in Nakano Ward, surpassing South Korea last year. Why not take this opportunity to learn about the environment surrounding Nepali children who are living right next to us in our daily lives?
