元Jリーガーにしてシンガーソングライター、矢野マイケル（ARK）さんをお招きして、異文化の中で育ち、自分らしく生きることについてお話を聞きます。

日本人の父とガーナ人の母を持つマイケルさんは、8歳で来日。ふたつの文化のはざまで育ちながら、多様な価値観と人との繋がりを大切にしてきました。Jリーグを退いた後は、幼い頃から好きだったHIPHOPを本格的にスタート。実の兄弟とともに「YANO BROTHERS」として活動し、現在はHIPHOPクルー「DDC」のメンバーとして、音楽・ファッション・映像など幅広い表現活動を東京を拠点に展開しています。

自身のアパレルブランドや音楽制作を通じて届けるメッセージは、「違いを認め合いながら共に生きること」と「古き良きものを守る大切さ」。

その言葉の背景にある経験と思いを、直接聞かせてもらいましょう。

Living Together — From Ghana to Nakano: Life Beyond Differences

We invite you to an intimate talk with Michael Yano (ARK) — former J.League footballer, singer-songwriter, and artist — as he shares his journey of growing up between two cultures and finding his own voice.

Born to a Japanese father and Ghanaian mother, Michael came to Japan at the age of eight. Raised between two worlds, he has always held close a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and human connection. After leaving professional football, he turned his lifelong passion for hip-hop into a full creative pursuit — performing with his brother as "YANO BROTHERS" and now as a member of Tokyo-based hip-hop crew "DDC," spanning music, fashion, and visual art.

Through his own apparel brand and music, Michael carries a message that is both personal and universal: embracing difference as a way of life, and honoring what is worth preserving.
